All septic systems being installed or modified in Fayette County need to be permitted, installed by a Certified Septic Installer, approved and inspected by a Sanitarian from the Fayette County Health Department.

Permits and Fees
If you are planning to have a septic installed you will need to read the memo from our Sanitarian, fill out a Form SS-182A, complete a Septic System Precautions Acknowledgment and remit the $180.00 fee to the Fayette County Health Department.
