All Individual Water Wells that are drilled in Fayette County must have a permit, be inspected by a Fayette County Health Department Sanitarian and be drilled by a Certified Well Driller. You can find a list of Certified Well Drillers by clicking here.
Permits and Fees
To receive a permit to install a Water Well you need to fill out an
Application for a Permit to Construct, Modify, or Abandon a Water Well (SW256) and submit it to the
Fayette County Health Department along with the $150.00 fee.
